March 18, 2013Tuesday 30th ….. Hooray BT have reinstated line “absolute joke Eh” no reason no apology, no surprise there then. Sign writer did a great job even if a bit honest.
Monday 29th….Few final touch ups today! Oh and guess what BT still haven’t fixed fault

Saturday 27th…Great to be open again…Thanks to all the team for getting the Pub going again so brilliantly, few teething problems but most annoying still diverting calls as BT still haven’t got our phone line working yet B@£$%^&*s
Friday 26th….We are finally open, few things to do but we have made it. Sorry to all those lovely customers for their patience with the delay to the washrooms! Still can’t get a phone line don’t you love BT! thanks Kev for answering all the forwarded calls to his mobile! We got loads of wine though see below….
Thursday 25th…. we should be open tomorrow..
Wednesday 24th….not the greatest day when the carpets were being laid the fitter put a nail through the heating radiator pipe…curtains now up.. carpets now fitted after new copper pipe put in place after digging up concrete..final electrics being done..lets hope we can get sorted tomorrow..We will open Friday morning even if we have to stay up all tomorrow night.
Tuesday 23rd…. things are starting to get moving! so our contractor boss man says anyway! run out of wallpaper in the Kings Room! but on its way they say! oh and we’ve got no hand dryers! everything is great and looking fab! curtains and carpets tomorrow! then the new furniture arrives but never works out in the correct order, so tomorrow is going to be pretty hectic. Should be open from Friday Lunch I hope. You can book on line here
Monday 22nd…..not much too see today! I’m sure will be done in time! However doesn’t look like it today.More news tomorrow in the mean time he is a sneak preview of our new menu’s
Sunday 21st….they are still working flat out to get us reopened for later this week. What do you think of one of the walls wallpaper?
Friday 19th….things starting to happen! panelling starting to look good with a bit of paint!
Thursday 18th….not much to report I am afraid to say “what have they done to our lovely restaurant? as in picture below.
Wednesday 17th….Well the works are getting going now, new flooring has arrived!
Monday 15th…..Well day 1 of our refurbishment now complete. All the furniture,curtains and carpets removed.
We will be CLOSED from 15th April to the 25th April 2013 for a refurbishment
